                         WHY ME?
                  Chapter 1: The Man
  
      *Her phone buzzed* "What?!" I tried to keep my mouth shut but it seemed impossible to control my innerself as it was trembling with fear, bile rose at the back of my throat, but I manahed to get out of my bed and switch the lights on. I searched the whole house but couldn't find anyone. I went to the kitchen, poured some water into the glass, *gulp* *gulp* *gulp* the house was so silent that I could literally hear myself gulping, but the text I recieved earlier managed to distract me from all other things.                                      
      "I KNOW WHAT YOU ARE GOING TO DO NEXT, MARIA." , this is what it said. "Blah! I don't care! It must be those idiots again." , I assured myself because I knew my friends always had to prank me once in a week. As soon as I went back to bed... *phone buzzing* "WHAT?! WHO ARE YOU?!", I shouted and that's when I saw him standing at the corner of my bed. His eyes stared at me as if they were going to draw my soul out. He rushed towards me, his hands grabbed my neck, he strangled it so harshly that it made me choke, all I could see was his eyes, his eyes were beautiful and creepy at the same time. I was giving up. I could not breathe or see anything except his eyes, and then all I could see was his eyes fading.
       *phone ringing* I woke up with a scream and my hands grabbing my neck. I was soaked up in my own sweat. I was scared but I couldn't remember what it was. I could still see his eyes before mine. I managed to pick up the phone but nobody answered and the number was unfamiliar as well. Whatever or whoever it was, I was now sure that something was going wrong, terribly wrong.
