Its not that I don't want it to I do, I try but in the end I seem to find I am alone.

her hair was dark brown like chocolate, her skin sun kissed, but we were star crossed lovers that could never exist.

He was a deaf boy, so sweet at first but after the wedding hospital visits, makeup, and sunglasses became my normal.
And 7 years and 3 kids later I admitted I could no longer force myself to love a man like that more.

Dark skin As black as night that gleemed against my paleness, his thick accent and my childish ways must have left the door open to disrespecting me.

Born here this time, taller than me skinnier than me, a heavier drinker than me, maybe love will last this time.
Moves in with me, has a kid with me but the child ain't right and leaves.

I'm older now tho and he's to young I take everything said like a loaded gun.
