Today I saw a black cat
It's paws made a cute pitter pat

I was walking down the street
Tripping over my feet

Not realizing I went under a ladder
The dress of the man above did not flatter

Oh my he fell
Alive or dead I couldn't tell

The cat I saw I've seen but can't remember where
But anywhere I'd recognized that midnight hair

Not paying attention I stepped on a crack
Oh my I just saw a woman break her back

Oh no kitty cat
Don't do that

Don't cross the road
Don't chase that toad

Oh phew why did you have to be so rash
You caused a crash


Silly little cat
Who's paws make a pitter pat

I remember you
You chewed up my shoe

You're my little cat from my house
Where you looking for a spouse

On the way home we whitenessed a car
Who's driver we distracted sent an old lady flying so far

You shouldn't go out of the house
Ain't that right Luck?
