In relationships,
You must love and compromise.
In art,
You must take criticism.
In religion,
You strive to be your best self.
In families,
You must build together.
In therapy,
You must acknowledge your mistakes.
In reality,
No one is perfect.
In America
Those same proverbs apply
But we either chose to
Forget or ignore.
Why is America treated any different?
If I march or kneel for change,
I don't hate my country,
I just want it to be better.
