Awakened,
Untangled,
For I have risen from my grave
For too long I've been in anaemia,
Shackled in chains I have handed to them
They have broken my very soul, redefined my being, I became unknown
But I'm a child of the soil, heeding a call from my ancestors, I've heard their voices in the wind
So send me,
send to all corners of this nation, let me go and find the children I've unknowingly scattered,
let me remind them of the voices that echoes in their speech,
They need to rediscover the strength inbuilt in their dark strong bodies
No longer will they wander about listening to people tell them about their self,
nor will they buy into the lies told to suppress them
I know who and what they are,
I will teach them, I will tell them.
So yes, send me.
