Sandy Beaches Read Count : 51

As I walk along the beach the warm sand on my feet, the breeze in my hair, and the smell of salt in the air. The hot sun on my skin makes me believe in my purpose deep within. Sounds of laughter fill the air and it's like I'm at peace with no anxiety or worries built up inside me. As I look at the waves crash from time to time it almost seems like each wave was meant to be mine. As I walked towards the water and the sand goes between my toes I take a deep breath and inhale through my nose. As I exhale and now feel the cool water on my skin it's like it's beginning to cleanse every worry deep within. As the wave gets closer there's no turning back, I hold my breath and I turn my back. As I see the warm sand but feel the force of the water soak me from head to toe I realized at that moment it's okay to let go. To let go of memories that bring so much pain and to learn to move on for I have so much to gain. As I slick my hair back and walk up to the shore I began to realize the water is calm and my worries are no more.
