We all go through days when life is dismal. The weight can wear you down But it can’t always be abysmal There’s ways to change that frown. Whether it’s personal or well known Your accomplishments big or small Can make you feel like you sat on the throne Keeping you away from the depression fall It’s not what other people think Although that can be nice If satisfaction’s on the brink It’s a lucky roll of the dice It can help light up your life Energize you to persevere Help you control the strife Smiling as some dark clouds disappear We still have to deal with most issues Satisfaction strength helps us cope Toss out that box of big tissues You’re not at the end of your rope.
