I don't want to be hurt again 
By those for whom I have feelings.  
If love is just a pain, 
Please God, set me free from this feeling.  

I don't want to heal other wounds 
And then to feel abandoned, 
Like an old book burned with flames, 
After it was read in kindergarten.

 They say I always make the wrong choice, 
As if love is a lottery number.  
As if you could know what a man thinks
 After the first one:  "Hi" or "Hello".  

I don't want to be hurt again, 
I always told them that from the beginning,
 Maybe they did it on purpose, 
Burning my feelings against my desires. 

What kind of love they receive, 
Those who are happy with their loved ones. 
 What kind of love they receive, 
Those who are suffering, crying all their tears.
