I hurried to keep you here, 
While you were already in a hurry to leave. 
 I wanted to follow you, 
But I was the only one who wanted this.

 When I said yes, you said no,
 When I was ready to fight, 
You told me:
 "Stop, honey! Makes no sense to take risks."

  I watched you walk away to the train station,
 Getting lost among the people 
Who were already there before us
Watching through our tired eyes.

I knew I would never see you again, 
Because intuition never lied to me. 
 I was left with half a hug
 That I chose to keep for the times 
When I will miss you, dear.  

You left, I was alone in the storm,
 With my tears untouched,
 Because I knew nothing would change
About your promises.
