Imprisoned by a deep shadowy void,
a betrayal of holding me captive.
I am not them is what they always say,
I am human, yet they push me away.
I was once born to a different land,
but I was not held as humanity,
calling me a prisoner of my skin.
My heart torn with a restless broken pride.
For I am forever just an object.
They forget, I am man or a woman,
yet treat me nothing but an empty space.
Against me they stand, blind I am kind.
No wrong have I done, only born this way.
Yet always enduring eon ill-placed hatred.
