     I always loved to do fun things with my friends like going to parties, fairs, and amusement parks. We never looked at any guy, or thought about love. Mostly because we didn't want to have a broken heart. Me and my BEST friend, Brittney, already have been hurt before, and the way we were hurt are simular. Out dad's abuse us, and our mom's are scared to step up. So that's when I decided to stand up.
      "Alex! Get down here!" my dad yelled from the kitchen. I grabbed my gun I have been hiding in my drawer for two years now. 
      "Yeah, be down there in a sec!" I yelled being cautions and walking slowly down the stairs. I turned the corner to see him holding a knife to my mom's throat.
      "NO! Dad this isn't you!! STOP!!!" I yelled holding up the gun.
      "Just shut up!" my dad yelled. 
      "Why did you marry this disgusting man mother? WHY?!?!" I yelled getting rest to pull the trigger. 
      "He's not like this! I don't know what happend to my long lost lover?" my mom said trying to slowly get free.
      "What happend to you dad?" I said walking closer. He backed up then glared.
      "You happend!" he said then letting my mom go and he pulled up the knife, and he walked closer to me. 
      "I. Love. You!" I said then pulled the trigger. I screamed then fell to the ground. I only shot his shoulder, and looked at the time. I heard the sirens outside of the cops, and I grabbed my mom's arm and ran outside.
      "PUT YOUR HANDS UP!!!" one cop yelled with his gun pointing at my mom. She put her hands up, then said with a tear falling from her eye. 
      "Just shoot me! I don't belong here!" my mom said falling. I bent down and whisperd. 
      "It's all over now. You just need some rest!" I said then helped her up. Two months past and Britt accedentaly killed her dad. Me and Britt always met outside of my house to walk to school. 
      "Hey, Britt wait up!" I yelled running up to her. She was walking fast.
      "Why are you walking so fast gurl?" I asked looking at her phone. 
      "I'm meeting my boyfriend at the park. It's Blake. My crush for the past 4 years." she said starting to run a little. I waved then walked into school.
      "Haha. Hey look! It's Tommy." the popular girl said.
      "Shut up Carly!" I said chucking a rock at her. I always left rocks in my pocket to throw at her every morning. 
      "GET A LIFE!" Carly yelled. 
      "I already have a life! Life is good, you should get one!" I said the flipped my hair in a sassy way. 
      "Hey, Alex. Did you know there is a new guy coming?" my second best friend said.
      "No, I didn't know. What's his name?" I asked searching for my gum in my backpack. 
      "Blaze. He's cute!" Emily said with a big smile. I snarled at her then rolled my eyes. Apparently all my besties were getting boyfriends now. 
      "Alex, your 16 now. You should get a boyfriend!" she said then grabbed my arm. I mouthed no, then walked to my first class. 
      "Ok class. There is a new student this year. His name is Blaze Anderson. Blaze would you like to come up here and talk about yourself?" Miss. Carlos said. 
      "Yeah, I'm good about talking about myself. Haha." he said then looked at everyone.
      "So. I'm Blaze Nd I love hunting, mudding, skateboarding, biking, partying, and love life." he said then laughed going to his seat. I could already tell me and him would be good friends. 
      "Ok, Blaze you partner up with Alex." Miss. Carlos said looking at her papers.
      "Good. A boy!" he said standing up. I laughed then hear everyone else laugh.
      "Unless I have a d*ck. Then sure I'm a DUDE." I said then the class erupted in laughter.
      "Oh...sorry. DUDE." he said then nervously laughed. We talked mostly about our life more that the project. And our fave things are same. When class ended I walked to my locker and found out that BLAZE was my locker partner.
