If a portal were to open in front of you and you have only moments to act, knowing there is a possibility that it will close forever with or without you.. would you walk through it? 

I've been thinking about this a lot lately.

The idea of this in general gets my heart pounding. Feeling the adrenaline as I step through to the unknown. Questions race through my mind, Why did it choose now? Why me? (Assuming it can choose) What will it be like? Where will it lead? How can this be possible? Will I survive? Will I want to?

Will I finally feel like I have a reason to continue?
