I Don't Think About Read Count : 67

I don't think about you daily,
But I think often enough to worry.
From my heart, flows the river of tears,
That you once tried to make it disappear.

I no longer love anyone,
I no longer hope for anything,
I am the old man who learned to survive
These bad times, only with your absence.

I didn't have many regrets,
But you are one of them.
What am I going to tell to
The unborn grandchildren,
That we lost the chance
To love each other more...

I don't smile but I'm not sad,
I'm somehow at the limit.
The nostalgia of the times,
Calls me back to the life we lived it together.

  A story without an end,
A story we can't complete,
Because you and I,
Are so different now...

  • I related to every single wordbof every single writing you've made so far in such a paralleled coincidentally shocking way i can't even put it into correct words. it just relates to my everything so much that everything just clicked and thatsbsuch an understatement i need the love of life back, ashley.... completely moved me and you're a very very good writer.
