I had dreams that I gave up for fear of dreaming.
  I had people I had to leave behind me. 
I had songs that I wanted to dance to, 
 But I didn't have the right partner
 To complete my steps too.  

I had moments when I waited for a kiss 
That never happened from those lips.
 There were moments when I wanted a miracle,
To return some people back to me.

 I had moments when I regretted 
The words I said in a hurry,
 The fact that I did not have patience 
When it was absolutely necessary. 

 There were times when I had to talk, 
But I was silent, for fear 
Of saying something inappropriate, 
 Another bad behavior.

  I had moments of insecurity, 
Losing my confidence.  
I felt more than I said, 
I lived longer than in a lifetime.  

I left behind different opinions, 
I lived more alone than in the company.
This is me, just another you.
