Between the sheets I try to sleep
Six hours passed

Gazed on the sealing steadfast
Reminiscing on beautiful moments past

The sweet aroma, of her French vanilla stirs my senses.
Flashes of passionate moments
Like movies in my mind,
my heart thirst vigorously but she is not here to quench it.

The feel of a bank without cash,
Breathing without oxygen
Life and yet lifeless
Empty I am without her .

She's gone
Like the burning out of the brightest star
But, my dreams and desires
Illuminates and still burns brightly
Hoping to put together my burnt out star

love is here
But she's gone

  • I like to connect with the author and their emotions. I could do that here. Very nicely written.
