The latest questionable action in the investigation into possible Trump-Russian pre-election collaboration was conducted today by Devin Nunes, Chair of the House Intelligence Committee. Believe it or not, he delivered to so-called President Trump a dozen or so intelligence reports that he claims indicate "incidental surveillance" of Trump election team officals that were picked up under FISA warrant listening to suspected foreign agents. All under legal warrant, he noted. WTF? Nunes is in charge of oversight of the executive branch, NOT informing the executive branch. He received these documents by undisclosed means ... by leak perhaps? We need to know their source. Moreover, he did not share any of the disclosed information with his committee, or specifically, the ranking member of the Committee before literally running it to Trump. Why??? Is it because as a key member of Trump's transition team and ardent Trump supporter, he wanted to protect the so-called president by giving him and his legion of collaborators a heads-up as to what the Feds have on them? So they have additional time to plan a plausible reaction and lawyer up? Simply put, there is no historical precedent of anything like this ever happening before. We must question why. Nunes is a disgrace to his office and his country. Due to his insider role with the Trump administration, he must recuse himself from the Intelligence Committee's investigation on this matter. For all we know, he himself is involved. Once again, another instance of a key Republican putting party politics before country. One can only wonder if he would have been in the same ass and elbows haste to alert President Hillary Clinton in the same situation. Sad!
