In a mirror darkly, I gaze upon my soul.
Peering through the depths so dark,
Looking at the whole.
In a mirror darkly, I face my every sin.
Staring at their ugliness,
At every demon within.
In this mirror darkly, I can see my very core.
The darkness that has consumed it,
The light that shines no more.
And in this mirror darkly, I'm forced to face the truth.
Slivers of my innocence, 
Lost with the passing of youth.
In a mirror darkly, all my sins revealed.
In a mirror darkly, true nature no longer concealed.
