Always knocking on closed doors, 
Loving people I never really knew.  
To keep my heart safe, 
I left the love aside.  

I thought it was enough,
 How many times I was hit in the chest. 
 When someone new approached me, 
I was trying to escape.  

But on the day I met her, 
I knew it wouldn't be the same.
  I was able to risk it again, 
No matter what others wanted to say.

 My heart slipped on her lips 
When we kissed. 
 Love flowed through my veins 
When I missed her.

  Even though the love didn't last forever, 
And I still bleed since then,
 I was close to a true love, 
Unfortunately for her it wasn't the same.
