Nighttime comes slowly creeping up like a serpent slithering around and shedding it's skin. 
She sits and awaits as the moon rises her void getting larger from deep within. 
She thought she knew happiness before he clawed at her soul like the beast he had always claimed. 
Broken, defeated, she carries a tattered spirit no healing allowed she has herself to blame. 
She keeps trying and smiling like most people do after suffering from such traumatic events. 
Yet inside her she harbors a bitter hatred for every man she's been with since. 
The shadows of darkness slyly envelope all that she thought was giving her hope. 
Into the final abyss she is sliding for now her mind has no way to cope. 
As she gives in to temptation of the shadows that her she can't even fathom shedding a tear. 
So the darkness takes over swallowing her soul and taking her to a place where nobody will hear. 
Her mind screams and cries out without a miniscule sound proving that nothingness is all she is now. 
So look not for the woman swallowed by shadows for her pain and suffering have conquered somehow.
