A massive beast it is, lonely but filled with life. A massive beast it is, reaching but never grasping its dream. A massive beast it is, forever tired yet persistent. Spending woeful nights pushing, stretching, wanting. Trying effortlessly to reach the land it cannot grasp. Getting only inches closer during the night, yet receding from its progress during the day do it its straining efforts nightly. Never stopping but always enjoying the fruits of its labor. Being taunted by life all around, near and far. Surrounding its goal but can never truly cover it as it so wishes. The big, lonely, massive beast. The ocean, desperately trying to reach. The land we dwell upon.
