THE LIVING DEATH Read Count : 135

Bad as being dead I am.
In a joyless, miserable exisistence.
Extremely unpleasant living.
With great pain and suffering .

Life and death experiencing both.
Confined in bed since birth .
In this severe and novelty disability.
An abnormal tonicity of the muscles.
My limbs so numbed I can't walk.

Neither can I hear nor speak.
From deaf mutism I suffer.
Again from severe visual impairment.
Born with this blindness I was.
Mouth so stiff I hardly feed.
Better be dead than living.

It's a flaccid paralysis of the body.
An affliction from tonic eplepsy.
Am a log can't even shift myself.
Without a good Samaritan's help.
I am alive but dead as well.

Always with a tearless anger I am.
Crying in the anguish of my spirit.
Struggling with a serious adversary.
Worse than that of the biblical Job.
As I mess and pee pee on my bed.

What is more I have boils all over.
Worms and flies feasting on my flesh.
What with this oudor smell of mine.
They hardly dare touch to bath me.
Tarry black is my skin now I guess.

In the real world of nature .
Either one is male or female.
Common sense is not always common.
Funny the way; am not sure of my gender.
Such is a living hell.

No one is near for my comfort.
My soundless cry : they can't hear me.
I'm their laughing stock I assume.
Never mind,  I don't hear them.

I'm alive but dead.
