Don't stand before my maker
As he will turn a blind eye
Your faithlessness forgiven
For in misery you'll die
The son of vengeful loving
Was never meant to reach the top
He polished rotten limbs and
Walked on trough when signs said stop
His cunning saved his soul
As did the pact he made some day
In erernal life he's sinless
Painfull dying swept it away
Is it worth it to live forever?
Is it worth it, my good son?
You pay in certain agony
For a life you ain't sure will come
Is it worth it to live forever?
Is it worth it, my good son?
You pay in certain agony
But is heaven even there to come?
You never feared the facts
As you never cared for them
You agreed when Satan saw you
On a deal that kept you numb
You gained all that glory
And you were promised tenfold too
Don't you know that deal's worthless
He does what he wants to do
Is it worth it to live forever?
Is it worth it, my good son?
You pay in certain agony
For a life you ain't sure will come
Is it worth it to live forever?
Is it worth it, my good son?
You pay in certain agony
But is heaven even there to come
