As I am writing this I'm watching the National Football league draft. The league's annual player selection. So much is different this year because of the coronavirus. Instead of everyone being in one place, and the drafted player going up on stage to give the commissioner a hug and gets his picture taken with his new team's jersey everything is virtually done one big conference call.it is nice though to be able to watch something sports-related as many in this country, are very sports deprived right now so anything that helps one to start feeling normal again is a welcome relief. I don't know if this madness is going to be over in time to have a regular football season but more likely it will be impacted just like the NBA, NHL, and Major league baseball before them. This draft is giving hope to a lot of people tonight. The young players that are getting drafted tonight who are getting to realize their childhood dreams and the families of these young men. their lives will now be impacted in a positive way. The draft is also providing hope to the millions of fans of this sport who because of this are having at least a little bit of normalcy in the midst of this pandemic hopefully it will all be over soon life will be back to normal we will be watching football in local bars and pubs and having a football party at home with our friends soon but for now, everyone stay at home be safe and practice social distancing if you must leave home for necessities good luck good health to all and of course Go JETS
