What is state capitalism? Isn't that just another way to say fascism? I'm going to answer both of these questions. First of, no, state capitalism isn't fascism. Fascism is anti-communism, and anti-capitalism. State capitalism is pro-capitalism; however we recognize that there needs to be some regulations.

The freer the market the freer the people
This is the first misconception, many people believe that state capitalists want lots of regulations on the market; however this is a myth. Most state capitalists want the market to be as free as possible. We don't want to ban cigarettes, but we want a tax on them, and information about the side effects of cigarettes when buying them. State capitalism allows for there to be a regulated market.

Welfare capitalism
State capitalism is just like welfare capitalism; however instead of the government just handing welfare, we want to also regulate the market. Majority of state capitalist want to give welfare to the poor, and also to provide opportunities to the poor.

Regulations on labor
Majority state capitalism are in favor of some regulation on labor. Such as a 8 hour work day, and for the companies to be responsible for injuries that was caused directly from there work. Many think that it's socialist to want to have these regulations, but it's only socialist if it's an attempt to make the class equal, it's state capitalist if it's an attempt to protect the workers.

Regulations on advertisement
The regulations on advertisements is an attempt to protect the consumer from false advertisement. If people know what's true, and what's false, then we would progress faster as a society.

Monopolization
As society progress oligopolies form, then monopolies form. As industries become more centralized prices rise. In order to stop monopolies, we could ethier break up the monopolies, or nationalize it. Yes, some industries will be nationalized in state capitalism, but majority of monopolies will be broken up. Centralization is more socialist, decentralizatoin is more capitalist. An example of a industry that would be nationalized is home land defense, or law enforcement.

Communist
Communism is the abolishment of the market; however although they are against the market, while under capitalism they want to get rid of regulations, to expose in equality. They want to accelerate the fall of capitalism. This means that there against state capitalism, which means that libertarians should be pro-state capitalism to fight communism.

Libertarians
Alot state capitalism isn't perfect, it's the best system we have. To libertarians wanting to protect people isn't socialist, wanting everyone to be eqaul is.
