She came home with great news of her admission but saw mother on the ground in pains, 
Mother, mother she cried, there was no answer 
She rushed mother to the hospital but was told mother wouldn't  be treated without deposit, 
She pleaded and pleaded but was walk out on, 
She left the hospital in perplexity and frustration 
She met uncle but uncle refused to help without having her  body she refused and left
She met aunty but was denied entry into the house 
She danced on the streets but didn't get enough money, 
She hurriedly ran to the hospital with the little she had 
Doctor, doctor she cried I have the money 
Doctor looked at her and said I'm sorry we lost her
She cried mother oh mother, I have no one except u, no father, no brother, no sister, 
You left me in this lonely world
Who would share my pains and happiness, 
My life is ruined
Ohh poverty see what you've done to me.
