It first begins with a cough 
And no one thinks enough
To stay home when they're down
And another woke up and found 
They have got the bug.
They think nothing of it
And go on with their day
By the time people notice 
It isn't a normal cold
The virus is so old 
And spread to more cities tenfold
We get locked into our houses
Little do they know
That even sheltering God's children 
Will not protect us
The plague will continue spreading 
From person to person
House to house
Until entire populations 
Have been washed out
After life is back to normal 
And we think it long gone
The plague will be evolved 
And the plague keeps on
