Everyday I stand 
Behind this wall of glass 
Patiently waiting 
As the weeks slowly  pass

They always tell
That I’m a good wife
For standing beside you
My man serving life

From the very first day
I set my eyes upon him
I wanted to have him
His heart I must win

I look into his eyes
Saw more than I should
I looked past the ugliness 
And saw nothing but good

You are the one 
With my life I will spend 
Every night in my prayers
To you love I send.

I will be right here 
Doing time with you
No matter how long 
My love for you is true.
