Stretch REALLY hard and maybe you'll get me
She speaks her Truth
Unapologetically
There She stood
Barely out of childhood
Hear her speak
Look around
It's justice she (they) seek(s) (#metoo)
Her innocence taken by force
Would there be any recourse?
She felt unlovable and unwanted
Numb is all she could be
Not knowing she was allowed to be Angry
Feeling lost and betrayed
They put her Truth to the test
The Truth they tried to minimize
She was terrified
Little did they realize
She would insist he be locked up
She had become family gossip
When the Truth
she did say
She lost everyone
there was no one left
Family had all turned away
They claimed 'false allegations'
Her ground she stood
Slowly loosing her life
Being misunderstood
Justice for a crime he did commit
To re-victimize her
Was absolute bullsh##!!
There she stood
Speaking her Truth
Knowing she'd loose everything
She had no choice
but to roll the dice
Lord knows
She'd already paid
with the ultimate price
In more ways then one
But for Her
She was labeled
'Victim #8'
not the only one
