"It's time to make a difference." Steve boldly proclaimed, his diamond sword pointed towards the horizon.

"Umm... Steve... What difference-"

"Hush my child, hush! The wind... It's speaking to me."

"No, it's just making your cape flow and your hair messy."

"Hush I say! They're coming."

At once, Steve hurled himself into nearby bushes, ignoring the pain of sharp pointed leaves. He then rushed his cape up into the air with both his hands above his head so it would not endure the same painful fate he currently faced.
Such thorns! I will have you face my wrath if you so much as tear this beloved piece of fabric!
Steve thought with his eyes narrowed and brows angrily creased towards his only refuge.
He then turned his head in every direction until finally he noticed Alex who was still standing in an open area.

"Psst, Alex, hurry! You must hide!"

Alex crossed both her arms and tilted her head. Never before has Steve seen such an expression on her face like this one. He gasped. 

Rule number one: Have courage. That has always been Steve's motto except within this very moment, his heart began to express a feeling he couldn't quite understand. 

Steve paused for a long moment, fighting the urge to look away from such an intense glare. He must face this new side to Alex with courage because to Steve ,the whole world was depending on it. This is a battle he couldn't afford to lose!

Suddenly, the silence between them broke.

------------Note: Personally, I feel good about writing this because 1. It's my first time writing anything so confidently and 2. I enjoyed it a lot :D I've played minecraft since the age of 13! Steves have always interested me. I consider them interesting specimens and creatures. I mostly enjoyed this because I got to put some of my personality in it. Ty
