Raj does not get any answer from anyone. He can't believe his mother can leave him and go away like this.He misses her like anything and keeps crying.
Sonia brings him his dinner which he doesn't touch.He wants only his mother.
Terrified Tia and Rahul watch everything from behind the curtains. They are also clueless about what has happened.
 
Next few days he is numb with shock. 
He goes about his routine listlessly.
Whenever Om tries to talk to him he bursts into tears.Where is my mom? Where has she gone?Why has she left me?


Sonia tries to bring some normalcy at home. She sends her children to be with him all the time.She cooks all his favourite dishes to make him happy.Om is very grateful to her when Raj slowly appears to  come back to his normal self.
Both of them are not aware of the hollowness he feels in his heart.The cold dark emptiness.The sadness in his heart that never goes away.His eyes are always searching for his mother.It is as if he grew overnight. 

He doesn't notice that Sonia and her children have shifted in the house.He is not aware that some of the old loyal staff have been replaced with new ones.He is infact grateful when they all start living like a family,eating together,going out together. He thinks his father is trying  to make him happy when he joins them for outings like movies,picnics,football,matches which he had never done earlier.Infact he never took any interest in these activities when Maya was around.It was solely her domain.

Now it was as if he was a new man. Happier.Younger.
The boys were always together. They would go to school then for other extracurricular activities after school.
Tia would follow them around but they were not interested in her .She was much younger than them.
After a few days of Maya leaving them,Om mother came over.She looked angry.Om spent nearlyan hour with her in a separate room.When they came out she looked furious.She just stopped to hug Raj but completely ignored others before storming  out.
