I kept you in every dream,
I had you in every thought.
I told them about you,
Using my surname.

I touched your heart without using my fingers,
I painted your eyes using strong memories.
I spoke to you without saying a word.
Where you want to go, I want to come with you.

I held you in my hands, waiting to grow.
I watched your breath, breathing in echo.
I closed my eyes to met you again,
While you were talking, I stuck stars in your hair.

We were both dancing on a piece of the moon,
Where the world seemed too small.
I brought your touch above my skin,
Drawing together to color the rainbow.

Two children yesterday, two adults today.
I made the transition from innocence to ecstasy.

I wrote your name in all the letters,
I set my heart to beat at your own pace.
If you're just an old song,
Please, let me put you on repeat.
