The one who forgets his dreams 
Just to fulfil our demands, 
The one who sacrifices 
Just for us, 
He is no other than our dad. 

The one who is his girl's king 
And a boy's superhero, 
He is no one other than our dad. 

The one who doesn't express his love like mom, 
But expresses his love through mom. 

The one who is happier than us on our success, 
The one who gives us pocket money and hides from mom, 
He is no one other than our dad. 

Harsh from outside,soft from inside 
Just like a coconut, 
He is no one other than our dad. 

The one who teaches us to walk, 
The one who shows us the world on his shoulder, 
He is no one other than our dad. 

Neither I have words to say thanks, 
Nor I have words to express love. 
Promise to make you proud one day,
