Had we been the reason for someone's freedom

Had we fought for someone's rights and cause

Had we not taken certain things for granted

Had we listened to the earth's plea

Had we been not selfishly selfish

Had we understood that there is some power above all

Had we repented for our greed

Had we been little free from our busy lives

Had we been little closer to mother nature

Had we been just little responsible humans

We would have not been locked down today

Our homes as jails and we the criminals.....
