PREAMBLE:
In other to maximise effectiveness in Prayers, it must be realised that the advantages, benefits, and dividends that accrue therefrom are majorly drawn from OUR HEALTHY RELATIONSHIP WITH GOD, and minorly from OUR ORDERLY CONVERSATION WITH GOD.
This is the reason why the Prayer model delivered to us by our Lord Jesus Christ is so premised:
"Our Father who hath in heaven, hallowed be thy name..."
It is always a privilege and plus to step-up to higher levels of relationship with God for preferential advantages.
The more we render ourselves as children after our father's heart the dearer we will become to him.
Always seize immediate opportunities that come your way.

"Whatever is born of God OVERCOMETH the world: and this is the victory that OVERCOMETH the world, even our FAITH"
Comment: 
You must necessarily project from an overbearing consciousness of fighting from victory and not for victory, approaching the battle with the OVERCOMER'S mentality. The simplest way to convey it's understanding is by lending from an imagined scenario where an account customer deploys every agency and resources within his disposal to recover his claims that is declined by the banker for whatsoever discrepancies or fraud. He will neither allow time nor fear nor ignorance nor intimidation nor timidity nor complacency to prevent his recovery!
Claim all that belongs to you from the redemption account as an heir of God and joint-heir with Christ without negotiations!

Comments:
Whereas Singing Praises to God cannot be rendered amiss, Praying definitely can.
The place of Prayer is a divinely constituted platform for the exchanges of obligations and rights between God and humanity in view of reverting from the altered state of degeneration to the original status of glory. Therefore it can only be effective if orderly rendered to specifications. 
The entangled destiny of mankind is rendered deeply complex and complicated  from the multi-faceted-direction assaults are launched, ranging from the origination, to the destination, to the right-standing, to the wrong-standing, to the positive-supernaturaal, to the negative-supernatural, and finally to the individual uniqueness.
Be determined to engage on all fronts.

Comments:
Every human being is distinguishable along the family trees of either the good olive plant and the wild olive plant, consequently are not only made partakers of their roots, soil quality, and geographic locations and climates, but also replications of their fruits. These inherited consequences are made risingly compounded by the factors of ignorance and uncertainty of the dateless past of it's origination.
The only people that can be rewarded with glorious transplantation are those that are determined, desperate, and diligent in constructive investigations and resolutions.
Focal Prayer Point:
Oh Lord God, by the redemption sacrifice of the cross liberate me from every entanglements with ancestral cords of Afflictions in Jesus Holy name.

Overcoming the Destination Afflictions:

Ezra 8vs22: 
"For I was ashamed to require of the king a band of soldiers and horsemen to HELP US AGAINST THE ENEMY IN THE WAY: because we had spoken unto the king, saying, The hand of our God is upon all them for good that seek him; but his power and his wrath is against all them that forsake him."
Mark 4vs35-38:
"And the same day, when the even was come, he saith unto them, Let us pass over unto the other side.
And when they had sent away the multitude, they took him even as he was in the ship. And there were also with him other little ships.
And there arose a great storm of wind, and the waves beat into the ship, so that it was now full.

Comments:
To a very large extent, every man's size of glory is what determine his weight of Afflictions. The man whose destiny is to end up as a school administrator is not likely to have as much challenges as the one whose is to end up as nation-state administrator. Joseph suffered the most than his brethren to arrive at the destination of Egypt's prime minister. Understanding the journey and knowing what should be done is what put you in command all the time.
Focal Prayer Point:
Oh Lord, grant me me understanding of glorious destiny and the knowledge requirements to adapt in declination and acceptance accordingly as confronted by prevailing challenges. Oh Lord, like Moses empower me to confront and overcome my destiny challenges in Jesus name.

Overcoming the Right-standing Afflictions.

Psalms 34vs19:
"Many are the afflictions of the righteous: but the LORD delivereth him out of them all."

"Hold not thy peace, O God of my praise;
 For the mouth of the wicked and the mouth of the deceitful are opened against me: they have spoken against me with a lying tongue. note note
They compassed me about also with words of hatred; and fought against me WITHOUT A CAUSE.

Comments:
Some of the Afflictions we suffer are direct consequences of our choice to pitch our tents on the side of God, thereby becoming the targets of everything that is in opposition to God. Technically, God allows it to prove our claims in faith towards Him and to force out the treasures inside through purging and refining systems. Also notable is the fact that they don't survive beyond their lifespans.
Focal Prayer Point: 
Oh Lord God, grant me adequate awareness to distinguish this nature of Afflictions, and the strength of Patience, Longsuffering, and Joy necessary to contain and expire them, and invoke your judgements against every of their agencies, in Jesus name.

Comments:
According to Ecclesiastes7vs20, Christians are still vulnerable to faults either by privy or ignorance, thereby indebted to the disciplinary systems of God for healthy upbringings. 
The punitive measures are divers in the range of financial chastening,, relationship chastening, health chastening, emotional chastening, career chastening, and spiritual chastening.
The only antidote for this kind of trouble is complete reversals of erroneous and faulty lifestyles and dispositions towards the matters of God.

Oh Lord God, I confess and forsake all my known and unknown trespasses and plead for your mercy and forgiveness, and restore the prosperity and health deprived as a consequence.

Overcoming the POSITIVE SUPERNATURAL AFFLICTIONS.

"And as Jesus passed by, he saw a man which was blind from his birth.
And his disciples asked him, saying, Master, who did sin, this man, or his parents, that he was born blind?
Jesus answered, Neither hath this man sinned, nor his parents: but that the works of God should be made manifest in him."
Comments:
This is perhaps the most mysterious of all the roots of Afflictions for fact that human minds usually lack the capacity to rationalise the underlying truth. In the above typical case that involved Jesus and the blind man, the arguement being why would God subject an absolutely innocent man to torture under blindness and begging for such a protracted period of time-(38yrs). The simplest way to relate with this is to reconcile in the place of realisation that God most times operate a Sovereign system wherein His will as the Supreme Creator override from the Aloha to the Omega of any subject-matter of His exclusive interests, therefore the end-products of the works of such subject-matters can only reflect the glory of his faultlesness and goodness even if their beginning-process is unpredictable, unfathomable, unjustified and discredited.
There is no other existing systems that can deliver any outcome of a higher or greater good because of the interferences of error-prone human will.

Oh Lord God, I pray that you grant me the discernment to distinguish matters that are exclusively rooted in your Sovereign system, and strength enough to trust absolutely in the Invincible matchless characters of your faultlessness and goodness.

Comments:
Here is another mysterious source of Afflictions with deadly capacity to delay and to ruin because of the irreversible personality of the master-minder: The Arch-Adversary, who is the devil which is degenerated into perdition with a registered challenge against anything and anyone that is godly notwithstanding their states of awareness, readiness, willingness, and deservedness. Just as someone said that the battle is interested in us even if we are not. 
There is nothing that should be strange from the roarings of a lion, because she can only roar and not bark after its targeted prey.
If you don't rise up to the challenge now, you'll become the next inescapable victim of failure without apology from none.

Oh Lord God, I submit absolutely under your authority for the superior capacity to resist and dissolve all the assaults, incursions, and threats of the adversary in this area of the battle, in Jesus name.

Comments:
Every individual uniqueness is defined by factors that are sovereignty beyond the previously considered. 
Joseph was a unique individual so much that the size of the glory of his star defined the weight of his Afflictions  His brethren do not have to go through same ordeal because of their individual differences. Most times that is what lead to such petitions like that of our Lord Jesus Christ: WHY...ME? 
Make no mistake or argument, the destiny and associate challenges of a firstborn-male-child is absolutely different from that of a lastborn-male-child, and the rest if there be more. Do you know the reason why Reuben lost his place for Judah??
Identify your uniqueness and adapt accordingly.
Focal Prayer Point:
Oh Lord God, work in me both to will and do of your good pleasure according to the uniqueness of my destiny that I might walk through my troubles into my throne in Jesus mighty name.

Comments:
Whenever children come into the estates of their parents, either natural or spiritual, the assets and liabilities become legitimately binding on them. In the same light God extends the parental negative consequences to their children, He also administer for positive consequences.
You can never measure the magnitude of undeserving advantages that is potentially accessible in parentage and ancestry because it usually backdate to the unknown distant past.
The only caution is to avoid the Saul-Jonathan kind, otherwise you might end up harvesting a tale and not a testimony.

Oh Lord God, help me identify and fit compatible into my destined family tree for full maximisation of my glorious destiny in Christ, in Jesus name.
