Relationships pierced my heart (not just  mine but in general how we handle relationship). Imagine you loving a sweet girl but you both are broke, on the other end a rich man daughter falling for you. You never loved her but pretend to,  just for money (where you told you will not make it in life?). With your actions you're hurting the one you called the love of your life, making her feel insecure, and she began to search for security somewhere else. Alas! you both got separated and start living a life of "How i wish", "if I had known". 
Many believed in the saying of what will be will be and make them to misbehave. What you should know is only what you allowed to be will be. The mess you find yourself in today, is as a result of one of your reckless act. Stand for what you know is the truth, not what others are doing. For every action there's always a reaction, and for all reactions an action is behind it. For all your deeds i.e how you treated others especially their feelings, you'll also be treated thus. Though it will not be when you expect. The world we live, governed by some rules, one of it is "sowing and reaping".
The fact that nobody is perfect does not means you should be catching fun with others emotion. If it means nothing to you, it means the world to them and help them to treasure it. The adventures of technology i.e social media platforms mainly is to get us connected not to disconnect us. Many relationships crumble coz of online status, "who is she to you" "how could you reply another man with i love you". Trust me no man or woman was created to be fancy by just one person.
The way he/she is appealing to you, so will they be to others. There response towards others admiring them depends on how you treat him/her. Not how long can someone love you, its how far can you make them to love you. What do they find unique about you?. Someone love you too much does not warrant you to start acting like a demigod over their feelings. A lasting relationship is build by two people who have decided to make it work using there own manual, not coping what others do. They give in quality time to build and natute it, so they can enjoy it to the fullest all through their lifetime.
Instead of collapsing others building, look for a fertile land and erect your building. You know she is building relationship with you and in your heart, you're building with someone else, don't waste her time, be a man tell her the truth and set her free. May we all have more wisdom, knowledge and understanding on how to build solid relationship.
