FILM PHOTO.. OLD BUT FUN

Salam/Hei, I wanted to write like this for a while since reading and watching news are stressful. I wouldn’t want to say more, you know what I meant. I purposely didn’t open my whatsapp as regularly as I normally did. I tried to avoid distressing news, yet can’t. Friends kept asking questions if you stay quiet slightly longer than normal. We’re in the same delima …

Keep this aside at least momentarily; I ordered online (we can’t do shopping) most of the items needed for both colour and black and white film processing from various online shops. Prices? Varies for my standard aren't cheap. The US1 dollar is RM4.35 now. Postages are expensive, some items' postages cost three times the price of things you ordered.

Malaysian online shops aren’t all reliable, items are badly described and lack discipline, I would say. Aside from camera items, I lost a few ringgits with Lazada, sometimes refunded and sometimes ignored. Mudah.Com has lots of thieves especially people from Nigeria infiltrated into the system, they’re in Malaysia. Ebay is alright depending on which countries you’re dealing with, I avoid Indonesia, India, Malaysia, Thailand alike, if you must I’d advise double checking seriously before ordering. To my surprise, I’ve no problem with China traders like Alibaba and AliExpress damned good. While another Amazon is good and of course many more perhaps I’ve not experienced you people are more conversnat than me.

Come back to photography, perhaps in three weeks’ time I should be able to do the processing. Those interested can now try to pick up your film camera we’d develop ourselves. I’ve checked and talked to another group (video group) they sent their flm to KL. That's the reason why they do video instead, which was originally photography.

If any wants film roll maybe I could help ordering, I'm looking somewhere cheaper, I researched and mentioned earlier the price per roll of ordinary Kodak of 36 exposures can be more than RM50.00 But I also discovered cheaper somewhere that sell Kodak around RM 30-35… not expired but useable.

Of course the biggest handicapped we’ve, we can’t roam around, in my case even my cat got fed being photographed.

Alright folks, meanwhile look after ourselves and family around you.
