I want to take a midnight drive,
The music loud
And you by my side.
We'll cruise along an old country road,
Gazing at stars
As the night unfolds.
Pull off the road by an open field,
And dance in the moonlight,
Before the harvest yield.
We'll drive to the West,
And race the Sun,
Trying to stay ahead
Of the approaching dawn.
To the morning light
We shall surrender,
After we make this
A midnight drive to remember.
