Walking the fence between 
Wanting to live and
Wishing to die.
I battered myself 
When I could've thrived.
Now I'm trapped,
And I barely survive.
A pit of disparity 
I'm falling further into,
So many choices I can't undo.
I've lost my faith and I stay inside.
The world is cold and I constantly hide.
Something is wrong within my mind,
So much potential that I continually deny.
Bullets and pills may end my pain,
But my loved ones will hurt and I refrain.
So I guess it's time I take a leap,
Go out on a limb and say what I think.
Tear open my mind so that all may see,
What lies inside, what's hidden beneath. 
And in the chaos that will ensue,
To myself, I will stay true.
