Two summers ago, I cheated on my ex by kissing another girl(I'm lesbian). To this day I regret doing that. Her (my ex) and I have had an off and on friendship type. Everytime I see her, we end up saying we still have feelings for each other. It's true on my part but, I don't know about her because when we do get close again she shuts me out. I get why she does it but, it hurts knowing I caused that. I've tried telling her I'm not in the same mindset but, nothing works.

    Trust is a hard thing to build. If your both willing then it’s possible. You should ask her how willing she is to learn to build that trust with you again, and you’d have to commit sincerely and reassure consistently.
