I wish that I could find that one

That exists only in my dreams

With who love, loyalty, and respect

Are still desired things


Someone you can count on

And work towards goals in life

If there was one that thought that way

I would make that girl my wife


But anymore it seems

Real love has disappeared

Everyone has some agenda

Their conscience has been seared

Money, sex, and status

Seem to be the major themes

So I guess I'll go to sleep tonight

And dream of better things
