The rain pour down in new York and it is like God sad of the world. Business such as stores and schools went on. As the students of Mikoda school congregate in their classes, poor timid  dramatic Mikki Ikomuen sits in her English class listening to the endless romantic video of Shakespeare.

How she bored of the fanatics of happy endings and princes rescued from princess in damsel in distress.  When she had but only one Male friend back from Nagasaki. Her whims of true love were less than zero all her life yet she act if she cared about Mikoda.  Tell him what he did wrong and help him through school work was her own decision.  

He still dismissed her at every corner. why does she not get his hints? Maybe she naived in her her head or she see something in the mist. She gazed out the rear classroom window and sees the rain drops falling to the ground. 

A group of  girls appeared in front of her and she looks up to them.as they smile happily and she grins back . She closed her empty notebook. 

"Hey Chichi and Miori, what's up? "

The girls sat next to her and looked around then looked back away.

"So Mikki the word around the halls that each class think about sports endurance tests for fall featival before midterm?"

Mikki nods as she listens to one of the girls are talking about it. She also watched for the teacher in the room.

"What about the fall endurance test?" She replied .

"Well when we have our next class meeting, we go to vote on it and think you can get Mikoda to participate? "

Mikki looked pathetic out of it.  Her face went dead. "ARE THEY KIDDING ME? " she thought to herself" Mikoda probably not into it."

" So what do you think? " miori ask sit across from Milki.  She politely smiled back and not to be mean.  She already on his bad side. 

"I am sorry but I don't think he into sports stuff. I try get him be at school more but I got in trouble for it."

"What do you mean you just be nice. "

Mikki face lower her head and smirked.  "Nice sure but I done on my own and I...i don't even know him well."

The girls seem concerned and thinks to themselves.  They look at Mikki apperance. Their mindedness was get way off guard.

"What are you  guys thinking? " she insisted to know but the girls looked at her strange. Their face seems as ghoul or morbid monster. 

"Have you ever thought that he didn't appreciate you because your not his type? "

Mikki looked totally dead as she slam Her fist on her desk. The teacher looked her way and she rub the spot quietly. 
"You all are insane. He probably don't know what he likes either. "
 
The girls looked at each other and then raises eyebrows at Mikki. 

"If that true then he has no right to reject you."



Mikki cracked her knuckled and realize she hurt a nerve. She placed down on the desk. As she do the math of the girls request and till she ran out of ways say "No.

" i rather not be involved get in his wayy but i toss th3 idea and see his reaction."

The two girls freezes in excited smile and hugs mikki. " Ok ok calm it down.."  she looks away as the girls talking to each other before class over. Mikki  stares out of the window and remembers what the lady said to her in the hallway. 

"Hff..why does everyone assume its my responsibility to ask Mikoda to take action in things ...."

Her conscious sense guilt her about her decision.  As she breathe slowly and notice mikoda runs outside with paperbag in his head. 



"Is he working?  Isnt it against school policy? " i  probably should  not worried about it..as her eyes glance back on the teacher and the  bell rings to dismiss class. She leavves the room walk down  several flight of stairs and sees the principal glares at her.

 More worried faces and another one that lady from the hallway too. " i  should have never got myself in his problems" she said to herself as feet walks and interrupted by  someone else in her way. She looks up at her sight. 

"Mikoda....."  his name leaves her mouth halfway..his eyes looking down at her and he looks down the hallway. 

"Excuse me your in my  wayyy..."

A break of air or clarity breach mikki as she freezes in tkme hearing his soft voice and no one seems to be really startled by it. There was couple of peep eyes and that was it.

He moved aside of her and continue to walk to the boys bathroom.  She break out of her isolation and turns away and he already gone. She look clueless and thought his voice is soft. He acts very rude. 
She then shakes her head and just dedcide to get hum one moment about the fall festival. 

He come out of the bathroom and she stood in the same spot till he reached her sight and she clears her throat. He looks at  her.

"AYE mikoda. "

He turned around and pause for moment.

"Just a second. All the class is put together activities for the fall festival and do you have any interest in it "?

Mikoda looks away and breathe slowly he permit his memory of go to festival with his parents.  He was  three years old at the time and he went to the annual harvest gathering in fuji. He used to be so happy till everything after it black out of his mind. He covered his face and walked fast out of the building  

" i  take that as Nooo.." mikki commenting on the boy respond. She saw his reaction and look away worried.  "Did i just made things worse?" She Fritz and  started  to walk the other way when a pair if women hands covered her face.

" you did smooth job . I never seen him like that before. "

Mikki remove the women hands and look up. 
"Ms. Sachiko how are you? "

The head nurse smiled bluntly and dust off her hands.  She clears her throat and gave mikki a fair reaction  .

" i am great.  I see you made efforts to interact with Mikoda. "

Mikki looked confused by what Ms.Saichko said. She giggled and disbelief as well..

"No i was just do a favor for my classmates because they think I am brave enough to talk to him. Actually he gave me clear answers. "

Ms. Saichko place a finger on her chin and become interested in the matter. " i see and his responses  was.."

Mikki had to review and analyze mikoda body language to give the head nurse a good guess. She didn't really get a respond and probably was way he wants to react her.

"His body language definitely say noo and then he left. What astonishing me was..nevermind..."

"What?  What was it the astonishment? "
Head nurse Saichko takes note in her mind. She's a mstery in the mix and the assistant principal. Why would she want to add his reaction to her note anyway? 

"It's nothing.  I gone way to far in his troubled. Like you say, there plenty of boys for me. " after saying so , Mikki went to the science lab for her next class and Ms. Saichko could not figure out the astonishing part. She just by pass it but in her mind she probably think Mikki likes Mikoda.  Why else would she be in his face every other time?

Is it hidden feelings or friend that mikoda really needs?who knows? 

She just average but too out of the way of something extra.  She got pale tan skin with maghony brown hair and eyes almost green.  Her uniqueness to confront with her classmates is subtle..
