You can shout it from the highest hilltop
Or to gathered crowds on the corner
You can raise your voice to get attention 
Or speak softly like a tearful mourner

Whatever expressed are merely words
They can be effective- hypnotic or dull
Words not translated into action
Stand empty with nothing to mull

If it gets you to thinking that’s fine
It can reenforce or change your mind 
Know who you are-listen or walk away
To listen is your decision- what have you 
learned
