I have numerous battle wounds 
From my fight against this disorder
From tracheostomy to gtube to 30 plus other surgeries
My scars are still here so i wear them with pride
Being diagnosed with Acute Flaccid Myelitis 
Has been no smooth ride
I fight every day
I shed many tears
There are many times i wish AFM and my mobility impairments
Would all disappear
I know i will have these days
When i hate how difficult my life is now
But i know in my heart God has a reason for wanting me to face many challenges 
And He has a unique purpose for me
