Oh my dear friend,
What you've turned out to be
A companion, a sister
And so much more I can see.

I've cherished our friendship
Making sure it will last,
I'll love you Dear Friend,
And will forever forget the past.

We've built a solid foundation,
And treasured it through
It'll hold fast forever,
What more could it do?

I've given you my heart,
For you hold it dear
Give yours in return,
And I'll know that you care.

And so it has come,
My last words to say -
Goodbye, my Dear Friend,
Have a wonderful day.
