         What a strange world!
Always hoping against hope,
Will things ever materialize as expected?
Every day comes with its own uniqueness.
Today you are happy, still sorrow awaiting,
          What a strange world!

That first air trip seemed so fun and thrilling,
Ended up in crush and shambles, so devastating,
That first sex, appealing and fascinating, 
Landed you in a dirge of agony and pain.
           What a strange world! 

You get an opportunity and it's a trap bait,
A friend yet a traitor, should I walk alone?
Like wolves come when least anticipating them,
Before you realize, already pounced on you,
         What a strange world!
