As a young child, I always found my happiest moments within the presence of music. I started singing as far back as I can remember. Literally. I started singing when I was 4 years old, which is actually the youngest age I can remember. I've always found it so intriguing, how music always seemed to make my day, and it still does. Even in school, I take every chance I get to sing with friends, make a beat on my desk, a lunch table, or even the lockers in the locker room. Music is something that comes to me naturally, I feel that I can do anything as long as I have a beat. When I'm sad, angry, nervous, or stressed, music always makes me feel better in an instant. When I'm happy, music makes me even happier. I currently play clarinet for my school band, and have been practicing guitar as well. I'm hoping to start saxophone next year, and possibly even French horn. I had my first band concert last month, and although I'm only in beginning band, and we didn't get as much time as the other bands, I can honestly say it was one of the best moments of my life. I've sang, and danced, for 3 fundraisers, and have performed in 2 concerts for chorus, and honor chorus. I've written many songs, just for fun, that I have kept to myself. Music Isn't something that has to be shared, it's an art, to evoke emotion, and make someone's day, and it's never failed me before, and I will forever cherish music, and everything about it.
