Hey is that you Maya?"
Maya stops and turns to find her childhood friend  Sonia in market place. They had lost touch with each other when Sonia got married to an Army officer and went away to where ever he was posted.
"Hey Sonia.How come you are here.?"
"Oh its long story...lets sit somewhere and just chat  like old times"
They go to  nearby Cafe Coffee Day.
Maya had one hour to kill before picking Raj up from his cricket coaching class.As the coaching school is nearly an hour and half drive from their home,Maya spends her waiting time roaming in the shopping centre. 

Sonia looks tired and sad. She is wearing an old fashioned suit. Maya notices her dark circles even though 
she is trying to look cheerful. 

Sonia and Maya had studied  together  in a local school in Goa. They were neighbours too.Sonia and Maya's friend were good friends too.They got along very well.

Whereas Maya was the  studious one, Sonia was like a carefree butterfly.She loved to dress up and for her life was one big party.She just managed to pass in her grade 12 and took arts in college.She was not as ambitious as Maya.

So when she meets her Mr Right she immediately gets married. Whereas Maya gets into a medical college in Mumbai and both friends leave their small town Goa together. 

And the destiny brings them back in the same place after fifteen years.

That day Maya comes to know that Sonia is now a widow with two small children. She has come back to her home town to look for a job.She is now living in her parents house.
As she is not qualified it is becoming impossible for her to get a job.She is desperate to do any work to give a decent life to her children snd have a house of her own.Her parents are too old and not so financially well off to take care of them.

Maya offers her a job of house keeper in her house.She was looking for somebody to look after her house while she can pursue her career. She was now a qualified gynocologist.She wanted to practise and wanted somebody to lookafter her house and family when dhe was away.Who can be better then her childhood friend.
 She offers her boarding and lodging too.
