If I cut open this vein to feel the blood pour out would it release the hate, loathing or pain of the world If I sob for hours in utter despair would it stop children from dying, wars being fought, or losing a loved one If I scream at the top of my lungs until my voice is stripped would the racism, lies, or injustice cease to exist If I took all I had, every ounce of my being, every drop of my flesh & offered it up would rapist, murderers or death be satisfied If you had a choice could you give your life to save another or are you a coward
