The monster inside her was growing.
Doctors said it would be judgment soon.
Listen close, the crows were crowing.
She learned to dance to the tune.
She reclaimed her life
And took it for a victory lap,
Away from roads of strife
And memories she would never get back.
She was sick of being afraid
Cause tears weren't penicillin.
Never one to be a cliché.
A princess turned into a villain.
She reclaimed her life
And lived it to its fullest.
She left an entire world behind
Before she finally saw Jesus.
