We are tired
We are hurt
We are fired at
We have been attacked
But we will fight back
Foes are fighting
England fought back
World war 1 was really frightening
Safety was highly lacked
It is nothing like being sacked
Medics had a big part
For things like giving C.P.R
If they all are shot
You'll be in danger a lot
And we will remember them
Now we wear poppies
For those who died for our safety
Just a minute of silence would do
To make the veterans smile again for me and you
So now just give some respect
Because they died for me and you.
